Second-Round Announcement of The 4th International Symposium on Natural Product Synthesis and Process Methods for Drug Manufacturing

The 4^th International Symposium on Natural Product Synthesis and Process Methods for Drug Manufacturing (4^th-NPSPM) will be held in Shanghai during November 15-17, 2024. 

Since the inaugural NPSPM gathering in Chongqing, China in 2012, subsequent symposiums were held in Nanjing, China in 2014, and Beijing, China in 2016. This symposium has been regularly organized every two years in various Chinese cities, evolving into a significant international event in reaction methods, natural product synthesis, and process chemistry. However, the 4th-symposium was postponed due to the epidemic and other reasons. We are pleased to announce the resumption of this symposium, continuing the tradition of previous successes, with a focus on cutting-edge research and developments in natural product syntheses, novel reactions, and process methods for drug manufacturing. It will provide an exciting platform for exchanging innovative ideas and discussing future perspectives in reaction methods and synthetic organic chemistry of natural products and drugs. Additionally, it serves as an opportunity to foster meaningful relationships and connections among participants. Over the years, this conference has become an important global event in the areas of reaction methods, natural product synthesis, and process chemistry. The attendees often exceed 400.

The 4^th-NPSPM conference will be organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, and the scientific program will include two day lectures including plenary and invited lectures. Shanghai is one of the four municipalities in China, and also one of the centers of China's economy, finance, trade, shipping, and technological innovation.

The organizing committee of the 4^th-NPSPM cordially invite the colleagues and friends from both academics and industries to attend the symposium at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on November 15-17, 2024.
